After a tow plane lifts you to soaring altitude, the towline is released and the adventure truly begins. With no engine, the glider rides the rising mountain air currents that have made Truckee a world-renowned soaring destination.

Choose from scenic flights for one or two people, or take the controls yourself with an introductory lesson from one of our Certified Flight Instructors and discover what it's like to fly a glider.

You will be towed high over the Martis Valley on this exciting ride which lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Release high above Brockway Pass for a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe from the northern rim! Ride lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.

Sierra Vista

Our very best ride! Climb a mile above the floor of the valley where on a clear day unparalleled views of the northern Sierra will be enjoyed. 30-40 minutes.

Introductory Lessons

During a one-passenger introductory lesson, get a chance to fly the aircraft hands-on! You will fly with a Certified Flight Instructor and can log the flight time toward a glider rating.
